Modelo 3D is an end-to-end additive manufacturing studio. We combine deep engineering knowledge with advanced 3D printing technology to turn complex ideas into physical reality.
Our Story
Modelo 3D was founded with a single conviction: that the gap between a great design and a physical part should be as small as possible. Too many good ideas stall at the manufacturing stage — either because the process is too slow, too expensive, or too disconnected from the design intent.
We set out to close that gap. Starting with a handful of machines and a deep background in mechanical engineering, we built a studio where design, engineering review, material selection, and production happen under one roof — and in constant communication.
Today we serve clients across industrial, medical, consumer electronics, architecture and research sectors, handling everything from one-off prototypes to production runs of thousands of parts.
What Drives Us
Every project starts with an engineering review. We assess tolerances, material suitability, and process fit before a single layer is printed.
Whether it's one prototype or a thousand production parts, every piece leaves our facility to the same dimensional and surface standard.
We keep clients in the loop at every stage — from design feedback to build progress to shipping. No surprises, no delays that we haven't flagged first.
Choosing the wrong material can undermine a perfect design. We guide every client to the right material for their mechanical, thermal, and aesthetic requirements.
Rapid doesn't mean rushed. Our optimised workflows and in-house capacity mean fast turnaround without compromising quality or skipping quality checks.
We aim to be the manufacturing partner you return to for every project — not just the first one. Consistency and reliability are the foundation of every client relationship.
How We Work
Our process is designed to eliminate ambiguity at every step. When a project comes in, it goes through an engineering review before production starts — catching problems on screen is infinitely cheaper than catching them in plastic.
We work with all major CAD formats and can receive files in STL, STEP, IGES, or native SolidWorks format. If you have a sketch or a concept rather than a finished model, our in-house 3D modeling team can take it from idea to print-ready file.
Post-processing — sanding, painting, assembly, hardware insertion — is handled in-house so you receive a finished component, not just a raw print.
We review your design files, flag any DFM (Design for Manufacturing) issues, and confirm material and process recommendations.
You receive a detailed quote with itemised costs and a realistic production timeline as soon as we've reviewed your files.
Parts are printed, post-processed, and inspected against your specifications. Complex orders go through a dimensional check before dispatch.
Parts are carefully packaged and dispatched. We follow up to confirm everything met requirements and document any lessons for future orders.
